The main gateway to Malaysia is through the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang, located about 50kmsouth of Kuala Lumpur. The KLIA2 is less than 2km away from the main terminal of KLIA and is the world's largest purpose-built terminaldedicated to low-cost carriers. Other major international airports that serve as entry points are situated in Penang;Johor Bahru; Kuching, Sarawak; Kota Kinabalu, Sabah; and the island of Langkawi.
